The cover mask, "Open Minded," was created by A. Williams, in ArtSafe's Arts Empowerment Program at the Ohio Reformatory for Women. This mask project enables the young creators to develop a better sense of self awareness, respect and understanding. The Mask Making projects lead to greater understanding and appreciation of each other and connection to the community.

On Wednesday, September 17, 2008, we honored those individuals who share ArtSafe's mission to change the future for young people whose lives have been shadowed by violence.
The 2008 Power of Art celebration featured good food and refreshments, fabulous entertainment, a silent art auction, and a live art auction with E.J. Thomas.
