InSide Out presents
Produced and implemented by Art for a Child's Safe America Foundation in partnership with the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections, and Madison Correctional Institution.
By empowering young offenders, through art, writing, and music, they begin to heal from their victimization and assume responsibility for the violence they have perpetrated. It is through this process they are then able to learn life skills, develop character and being to establish a sense of order in their lives enabling them to become productive members of society. Together we have created this CD and booklet for young people outside the walls and their parents, caregivers, and teachers. Our goals are to make the readers more aware of the long lasting consequences of abuse and violence and show the harsh realities of incarceration.
